Stowe has great little shops, superb and diverse dining choices, state-of-the art ski facilities and some of the best lodging in New England! What matters most, however, is that despite all the development, Stowe still feels like a small, relaxed village. With that in mind, there's no better time to visit Stowe than in the fall when the leaves in this picturesque village turn brilliant colors. A special fall chill in the air, the beautiful views of Mt. Mansfield (the highest elevation in the state) and long and winding roads featuring farms, cows and beautiful open land make the foliage that much more special. We highly recommend taking a stroll through the village or using the idyllic located bike path. Marvel at the postcard-perfect classic Vermont surroundings, and reveling in some of the best foliage in New England! • Please be able to distinguish the carefully drawn line between in character and out of character. In character plotting and drama is not only welcomed, it's encouraged, but crossing either of these lines will not be tolerated. This includes writing the actions of another person's character without the player's approval, also known as godmodding. If a conflict arises and cannot be solved between the writers, the mods are more than happy to step in and hopefully reach a fair resolution. Feel free to comment the drop box anytime, as well.
• Activity checks will occur on the 1st of every month. We'll be looking for a scene - whether it's threading or AIM - OR a minimum 2 solid paragraph journal entry. With scenes, we'd like a minimum THREE replies each. Some players enjoy using custom threads and that's fine by us! However, if you'd like it to count towards activity, please include ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) stowevt in the custom filter. Once the game gets up and running, we'll put putting out feelers for in game ideas to get all the characters interacting with one another. Hiatuses will of course, be granted. We understand real life often - and should - take precedence over role-play.
• Realism is very important in any PB-based town game. That being said, sensitive subjects such as pregnancy/miscarriage/rape/abortion/death should be handled as realistically as possible. This includes using said issues in an ooc manner to cause unnecessary drama ic. We'll consider that crossing.
• We will not be accepting characters under the age of 17. Other than that, the only requirement we have for your PB(s) is that you keep them within a 5 year age range of the face you're using. All IJ names must be in character and in character screennames, while certainly accepted aren't necessary. As of now, we won't be utilizing a buddy list, but as the game and/or demand grows for them, they'll will be created.
• Most importantly, have fun with the game! Get your asses out there and interact! We've all been frustrated with RP before and our goal is provide a fun, non-judgmental environment for fellow writers to meet, plot, and enjoy role-playing.
